Did anyone say charcuterie?? :)))
There’s something about a pretty charcuterie board that makes me want to cancel all my plans, put on a cute outfit, and go investigate. 😂🧀
So when I came across Crafted Nibbles, I knew I had to see what they were working with.
Today’s diary entry is a little food adventure: good bites, a cozy little space, and me attempting to decide whether this place deserves a spot on my “I’d Come Back Here” list.
So grab a snack and come with me because we have a very important question to answer:
Was Crafted Nibbles actually worth the visit? 👀
First Impressions
Crafted Nibbles is a cute little shop located at 4631 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
As soon as I walked in, I noticed how clean and cutesy the space was. There were about two little tables where you could sit and enjoy your food, along with a cute seating area off to the right with a couch and two chairs. There’s also a little outdoor seating area if you prefer the fresh-air vibes.
It’s definitely a smaller space, but it has that cozy, boutique feel.
When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by an employee who was super nice and sweet throughout my entire visit. She was also VERY informative and helpful since this was my first time coming in.
I usually get a little anxiety in places where I have to tell someone what I want step-by-step. 😂 But she made me feel completely comfortable and walked me through everything.
And now…
Let’s get to the fun part.
The Food 🧀🍓
They started with the crackers. There was only one option available, and honestly, I wish there were a few more choices. The crackers were probably my least favorite part because they were pretty tasteless.
But everything after that?
Baby.
The cheese selection had around six options to choose from, and I thought the variety was really nice. I believe their cheese selection changes monthly, which I love because it gives you a reason to come back and try something different.
Then came the meats.
There were three options: ham, turkey, and salami.
I’m not really a salami or ham girl, although I did try the salami because I just really didn’t want the ham. 😂
I definitely would have liked to see a few more protein options, but I decided to let the employee surprise me with everything else.
I told her to give me all the fixings and anything else they had available.
It was my first time there, and I wanted to try as much as possible!
There were veggies, fresh fruit, jams, and…
Y’ALLLLLLLLLLL.
IT WAS DELICIOUS.
The fruit was SO fresh and crisp. The cheese, meats, and veggies were all delicious.
But let me tell you about the thing I did NOT expect to love…
PICKLED BRUSSELS SPROUTS.
I had never even considered that I needed pickled Brussels sprouts in my life until I tried them.
Hands down, one of my favorite pickled vegetables now.
I should probably call and ask if they sell those by the jar because… 😂
I need them.
I got a box for my mom and me to share, and she kept saying how delicious everything was.
Even my 6-year-old girls ate from the box and had ZERO complaints.
And if you have kids, you know that’s basically a Michelin star. 😂
Presentation ✨
The presentation was STUNNING.
I mean, everything was placed so nicely. She really took her time putting the box together and gave me a genuinely beautiful spread.
It didn’t just taste good.
It looked good.
And obviously, we love food that knows how to pose for Instagram. 😂📸
Let’s Talk Pricing 💸
There were three box options to choose from:
Mini Box: $19
Includes 2 cheese options + 1 meat
Small Box: $37
Includes 3 cheese options + 1 meat
Shareable Box: $65
Includes 4 cheese options + 2 meats
I got the Small Box specifically for my mom and me to share, and I added an extra meat option for $2.50.
I also tipped $5, bringing my total to $45.
And honestly?
We still had food left over.
For myself, I would definitely get the Mini Box next time and add anything else I wanted individually. I think that would be more than enough for one person.
And Then I Noticed Something I Loved…
As a girl who has cut back on alcohol, I was really happy to see that they offer mocktails.
Usually, when I think of having a charcuterie board, I picture wine somewhere in the mix. So having a fun non-alcoholic option was a really nice touch.
And I’m not condoning drinking 😂, but if wine is your thing, they also have wine available for purchase.
So whether you’re looking for a cute little treat for yourself, a girls’ night, a movie-night snack, or a gift for someone, these boxes would definitely work.
Because sometimes you just want to eat something pretty and bougie for no particular reason.
And honestly?
You deserve that. 😂
The Final Verdict ⭐️
Food: ⭐️ 4.5/5
The crackers were pretty tasteless, but everything else?
10s across the board.
The fresh fruit, cheeses, veggies, meats, jams, and especially those pickled Brussels sprouts were delicious.
Presentation: ⭐️ 5/5
SPECTACULAR.
The box was beautiful and everything was arranged so nicely.
Atmosphere: ⭐️ 3.5/5
Cute little shop, but I definitely wish it were bigger with more seating.
I’m imagining coffee-shop vibes, but make it charcuterie.
Give me comfy chairs, cute tables, maybe a little playlist playing in the background…

I really can’t complain.
Everything was fresh, delicious, and we still had leftovers.
Instagramability: ⭐️ 5/5 for the food
The box?
Absolutely.
The shop itself gets about a 3.5/5 for me, mostly because of the size.
Would I Return?
WELL HECK YEAH!! 😂
I absolutely would.
I’d probably grab a Mini Box next time just for myself, load it up with all my favorite fixings, grab a mocktail, and call that a perfectly acceptable little solo date.
Because apparently, I have entered my charcuterie era. 🧀🍓✨
